Dear Patients
Either please enquire for yourself or feel free to forward to a friend or relative who may be interested. St Paul’s Surgery are on the hunt for a new Handyman.
Jobs may include
- Fitting shelves, trunking or hanging pictures to the wall
- Building new or repairing old office furniture or medical equipment
- Fitting new or repairing old door closures, locks or shaving doors that catch
- Completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps, running toilet cisterns, changing drinking water dispenser salts
- Test fire alarms
- Grit the car park/ paths based on weather forecast
- Litter picking the site
- General repairs and maintenance tasks and audits
We would not expect you to carry out any electrical, gas or major plumbing works unless you have the certification too.
Typically we would store tasks up for you to complete 1 or 2 days per month at a convenient time that suits yourself but there are times we require a more urgent response.
The hourly rate would be £18 per hour. We would be happy to employ you through PAYE on a zero hours contract or subcontract your services and pay via invoice if you are self employed.
The handy person would need to supply tools. All materials are reimbursed.
Should this be of any interest please contact [email protected] for an informal visit
Many thanks
