Winchester Appointments
Partnering Health Limited has offered services to Winchester residents at the Royal County Hospital in the city centre for several years. From July 2019 we will provide a new service, run from the Friarsgate Practice at Badgers Farm, to combine Out of Hours appointments and pre-booked evening and weekend GP appointments. This service will be known as ‘Appointments +’ and will be supported by GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants, physiotherapists, mental health practitioners and paramedics. We will continue to offer services such as ear irrigation and diabetes checks.
Who can use Appointments +?
Appointments + is for local patients, registered in the West Hampshire area. We are working closely with nearby partners offering the same service in Botley, Romsey and Totton to ensure that patients can access locations and services which meet their needs.
Patients can continue to pre-book a weekend or evening appointment up to 2 weeks in advance and can continue to access physiotherapy, mental health and practice nurse appointments which are also pre-bookable.
How do I get these appointments?
To access this new service just book a weekend or evening appointment via your own GP surgery or by calling 111 from 6:30pm every evening, at weekends or on bank holidays.
