Minor Surgery Excision service now available

The practice now provides a Minor Surgery service for our registered patients, provided by a GP with specialist training in this area. This service provides convenience for patients who would have otherwise been referred to secondary care hospitals and encounter long waiting lists for review/removal.

If you feel you have a skin lesion please discuss this with your named GP in the first instance. If they believe your skin lesion meets the criteria to be removed they will inter-refer you to our GP specialist.

For more information on what we can excision and the criteria please review our service web page https://www.stpaulssurgery-winchester.nhs.uk/clinics-and-services/services/minor-surgery-clinic/

Clinics are going to be held once a month, typically on a Thursday afternoon.
